GoTab is looking for self-motivated, entrepreneurial, tech-savvy, and fun-spirited Account Executives to join our team. GoTab is creating the next generation dining experiences with app-less mobile ordering, payments, and a revenue management system for the hospitality industry.

This is a 100% field sales role. Candidates must live local to the assigned territory. The job is 100% focused on acquiring new customers

About GoTab

GoTab, Inc, the contactless order and payment platform, helps large & mid-sized restaurants, hotels, bars, breweries and other venues optimize their front-of-house service models using low-cost, agile technology. Patrons scan a QR code directly from their smart phones, order items via online menus, and pay securely – all without downloading an application or interacting with a server. Founded in 2016 and based in Arlington, Virginia, GoTab serves hundreds of national, regional and local full-service accounts in almost 30 U.S. States.

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for the following:

    • Work in an exciting, fast-paced start-up environment.
    • Spend your days in restaurants, bars, and breweries prospecting, creating your own leads, and talking to GMs and Owners Demonstrate the GoTab products, discuss value for operators, and close business. 
    • Achieve monthly sales quota
    • Manage a large pipeline (from prospecting to closing)
    • Use our CRM system to document all of your sales pipeline and activities
    • Work with minimal supervision.
    • Self-reliant (remote role) 
    • Focus on “Local” (1-10 locations), and if you have the experience you will also be responsible for the “Mid-Market” (11-50 locations) 

Skills & Requirements

    • 3+ years of direct sales experience 
    • Track record of sales success at or above quota
    • Closing business
    • Technologically Savvy
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
    • Excellent organization and time management skills
    • Must be willing and able to travel to different restaurants, bars, and other venues for face to face prospecting and meetings as needed using your own form of transportation.

GoTab is looking for a creative problem-solving, tenacious and motivated individual to join our Engineering team as a Deployment Engineer.  In this role, you will be responsible for post-sales, pre-installation consulting with clients to plan and execute deployment of GoTab hardware and software on-site at customer locations.  In addition to possessing the technical skills listed below, you must be able to think proactively about the unique scenarios of each installation site, communicate effectively with clients, and think on your feet to solve unanticipated problems without getting flustered.  The ideal candidate will be technically proficient with networking technologies, have some experience with software development and/or configuration, and have previous experience in the hospitality industry.

This is not a remote work position. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, our office is closed until further notice. GoTab employees are currently working remotely but will be required to resume in-office attendance at our Arlington, VA headquarters once it is safe to do so.  The Deployment Engineer role, by its nature, requires on-site visits with clients, and therefore requires local travel.  You will be expected to adhere to CDC-recommended safety protocols, including wearing of face coverings, maintaining social distancing when visiting clients on site, and frequent personal sanitization.

 This role, currently, is a combination of installation and maintenance of GoTab hardware and second-tier tech support for that hardware. It will be both technical and customer-facing.

Responsibilities:

As a Deployment Engineer, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of deploying GoTab hardware, including, but not limited to:

  • Provisioning customer-purchased devices with GoTab software
  • Shipping devices to provided locations
  • Performing installation of hardware on the client network remotely (with non-technical, on-site client representatives) as well as in-person individually.
  • Testing hardware to ensure proper functionality

You will assist the Customer Success Team with technical troubleshooting on GoTab hardware, including Point of Sale (POS) Terminals, networked and serial/USB printers, GoTab Printer Routers and handheld payment terminals.

Required:

  • Working knowledge of network architecture and functionality
    • General knowledge of LAN from DEMARC to end device
    • VLANs
    • IP addressing
    • MAC addresses
  • Working knowledge of Linux
    • Basic navigation and commands of a Linux terminal
    • Secure Shell (SSH) and Secure FTP (SFTP)
  • Customer relations skills
    • Must provide high-quality service in a high-pressure situation
    • Must provide hospitality companies hospitality in our service
    • Must be able to communicate complex technical information in a non-technical way to allow for end-user comprehension
  • Flexibility in travel, driving reasonable distances on a semi-regular basis
  • Weekend availability on a rotating semi-regular basis
  • A high willingness to learn, adapt and grow with GoTab
  • Team player

Preferred but not required:

  • CompTIA Network+ certification or Cisco CCNA Certification
  • Any hospitality experience
  • Basic python knowledge

As a Customer Success Manager, you will help introduce and grow GoTab’s cutting-edge technology on the west coast in an exciting fast-paced startup environment. You will help drive GoTab initiatives and support proactive communication with the Operations, Sales, and Product teams. You will be responsible for the successful design, launch, testing, training, and management of the GoTab product at our partner restaurants and venues. 

This is a remote work position on the West Coast. Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for GoTab restaurants and venues
  • Establish, grow, and manage relationships with new and existing customers 
  • Act as an advocate for GoTab in each relationship to drive adoption, retention, and participation in new features and products
  • Coordinate each phase of a successful and timely rollout of product launch
  • Support and provide technical troubleshooting to GoTab operators where and when needed
  • Work with the marketing team to help design and execute venue-specific marketing materials
  • Function as a product expert and technical communications resource for partners
  • Support the GoTab technical team, customers, and end-users as needed 
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts as relates to product usability and performance based on consumer feedback

The Web and UX Designer will work closely with the GoTab Visual Design and Marketing Team to create a world-class B2B2C website that helps achieve our ambitious SEO, demand generation and brand awareness goals. You are a data lover, analytical thinker, active listener, hands-on product lover, problem solver, and risk-taker. You thrive in ambiguity and enjoy investigating the root causes of problems. You will be responsible for creating websites, landing pages, with an emphasis on mobile-first experiences.

Responsibilities
    • Design and maintain the gotab.io/en/ site.
    • Ensure optimum web and mobile usability and simplicity for customers and prospects.
    • Work in close collaboration with the Digital Marketing Analyst to design for response and conversion.
    • Provide deliverables in the discovery phase including audience personas, wireframes, sketches, etc.
    • Contribute and develop ideas for design concepts for clients in varied industries.
    • Communicate ideas & project statuses clearly.
    • Produce concise presentations & emails.
    • Design, format, and maintain blog posts across all web sites.
    • Communicate continuing changes to web sites to management and internal users.
    • Code websites and emails using HTML/CSS/PHP as needed.
    • Work closely with writers, designers, and programmers to coordinate project deployment.
    • Maintain directory organization of all original, working, and final files.
    • Consistently hit deadlines while managing several projects at once.
    • Communicate with various department heads regarding needs and improvements.
    • Keep up to date with the latest web standards and trends
Skills & Requirements
    • 3 – 5 years experience in web design.
    • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript/JS Libraries (e.g. jQuery) and Adobe Photoshop; advanced knowledge of WordPressIn-depth understanding of Sketch and Invision or other prototyping tools.
    • Highly proficient in web and mobile design including design principles, design layouts including responsive design, browser usability, cross-platform compatibility, color, quick loading of images, and user experience.
    • Skilled in adhering to strict deadlines in a high-pressure environment, critical thinking and attention to detail with an ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
